Governor Training

SHARES provide local governor training opportunities across the academic year for Governors of SHARES schools. There are generally 6 training sessions per year, one for each year group per half term and they are held in a range of venues across Skelmersdale. They are delivered primarily by LCC trainers but moving forward there will be training delivered by Head Teachers and other clusters.

Like the Staff CPD, a database is maintained which tracks which courses governors have attended and these are sent out to schools after each academic year.
